We like to think of financial planning as a journey to our client’s financial goals. There is always a place you start from with an end destination in mind. This is the structure that we use at Biermaier Financial Management to begin each client’s financial plan.

Step 1: Initial Meeting
We will never create a financial plan for a client without meeting with them to hear their goals and dreams. We want to know what your hopes and fears of financial planning are so we can create a custom fit plan that works toward your goals and eliminates your fears. The only way we can do this, is to work directly with our clients.
Step 2: Plan Development
After the initial meeting we will work on creating a custom financial or retirement plan that matches your risk tolerance and financial objective. This requires a lot of research as we work to find the most appropriate investment options for each individual client.
Step 3: Presentation & Adjustment
Once we have a sound financial plan together we will contact you to sit down with us once again. At this meeting we will present what we think are the most appropriate investment options. This meeting is not a lecture, but a discussion to be sure that all your questions and concerns have been addressed and that your plan truly fits your financial goals. If any adjustments need to be made, we will work with you to be sure your financial plan is truly your plan.
Step 4: Implementation of Plan
This is simply acting on the financial plan that was created. This will require signing documents and putting in motion the plans that we have carefully created.
Step 5: Monitoring & Adjustment
This step is perhaps the most crucial. As your life changes, so will your investment needs. Events such as the birth of a child, sale of a business or impending retirement require that changes be made to your portfolio to keep it aligned with your goals. We strive to accomplish this through active management and a strong partnership with you.
